Should I post that photo of Mr. Clark again? He's DEA, I mean c'mon. Why do we want to protect his identity at this point? It might save someone from making a huge mistake and getting mixed up with him.

No, I think not. Doesn't feel right. It's just a bookmark.
Besides we've all seen his pic, and there's no one reading here but us...
I'm sure no one here will be getting mixed up with him anytime soon.
It's kinda like my theory that we can't save the world by preaching to our little choir.
While it's disturbing to note that he has the DEA tipline in his bookmarks,
that doesn't mean "he's DEA", or he's reporting everyone.
I'm not really trying to defend him,
but we should ALWAYS consider other possibilities...
than just the hard-core scenario you imagine.

Who really knows, apparently there was no further evidence about that,
if he ever really used it or how often, maybe it was just once...
and it may have just been something he reserved
for certain people he really hated with a passion, like Gypsy.

OK fine, we'll protect him even though it's become (more) obvious he's a DEA asset. I appreciate the motivation for categorically not outing him or anyone else, but I wasn't sure that extended to protecting known DEA plants.

I see your point, but for fuck's sake at some point the towering circumstantial evidence pile approaches the level of outright proof and I would suggest that point has been reached and exceeded in the case of our Mr. Thomas Clark (or whatever his actual birth name might be.) The chances that PoM isn't or doesn't work with DEA are admittedly >0, but only infinitesimally so.

I wonder who was posting his seed sales from the UK whilst he was running Silk Road from Koh Chang? It would be interesting to hear poster FAQ Jack's take on this.

Tom (I'm pretty convinced this is him) has been very busy, very audacious--and creative lately. There's yet more if you poke around like two contact email addies. Give him a shout. It's all pretty impressively done honestly, clever, well coded, and professional. When was the last time you saw a wanted fugitive (I'll just make that assumption) building his brand online and seeming to be having fun doing so? Amazing.

I've been thinking and even though, given everything that has happened and what has recently been revealed, it seems 90% likely he is working for the bad guys, a couple of hypothetical scenarios could also explain shit: one is that he could have some significant dirt on a person or persons near the levers of power, which will explain his seeming ability to escape capture and/or the DEA bookmark could simply have been an emergency Plan C if someone is *really* being a dick. A penultimate resort if you like before the last one.

Here is someone who has an off the chart IQ, a lively sense of humor and is possessed of both charm and charisma. Try as I might I just can't help but like and be a little awed by the guy. Even as I curse him and all his progeny and forebears. And even as I would bet real money he's grassing. Most interesting guy on the internet?
