I bought a bag of japolinos* a few days ago that were *seriously* hot. I know japolinos are usually kinda hot but these were like 10x hotter than usual. Sometimes I get others that are almost sweet. Other types of chili peppers don't seem as variable to me.

*fuck you, you know what I mean

i frequent the taco stands and shops that serve traditional asada with sides of chilies and radishes

the pickled halapeno's i can eat three or four of but this one place serves em roasted and i can hardly get
in two bites

ever once in a while they have a light yellow peppers that about like a real fat halapeno
boy are those ever good!
