Yet Another Heirloom Grow

Time to dust off the grow room again, lets get cracking

Soil and amendments: 1 bag of foxfarm, 4 large handfuls of perlite, 4 small handfuls of dolomite lime and water. Mix well while listening to Joplin’s Pearl album.

Seeds: #6 and #4 from 2 grows ago(Yet another fluoro grow). I used mostly #4 in last year’s grow, so mostly #6 this year. Also in the squat green dot jar are seeds from an extra female placed in with the males, and thus seeded to hell. I germed a test six-pack of ‘em and all were females, dunno if coincidence.
And in the baggie are old seeds from 6-7 years ago that were 2nd generation of some good commercial seeds (Satin) that got accidentally mixed with 10 not so good seeds, don’t know which is which, but it is time to use ‘em up.

Found some real cheap perlite on Amazon until you factor in the shipping costs. Then it to gets ridiculously expensive.

That miracle grow perlite is real expensive around here compared to the big bags.

Yeah I know, but since I use so little with the foxfarm stuf having quite a bit to start with, and I no longer use any with the veggie seedlings, so it last years now; it was a more cost effective to get the cheaper but much smaller bag.


There wont be any green fer a while … so here is some hot, naked ‘n wet seeds to watch. Exciting aint it?

Just two scrap pieces of wood set in to separate the different seeds. The red 6” ruler was added at the last minute to make four groups.
The closed pan (retired msr cook kit) sits on top of an old broken vcr, it’s only use now is it gets too warm, perfect for a seed incubator. Gonzo growing
