^Sweet! I see the garden peas are coming along nicely.

Unknown lettuce, from the library seed bank, homegrown someone labeled “mixed lettuce”. There is the fat oblaneolate leaves with litlle darks spotches and the deep pinnatifid leafed one.
Any ideas what they are?

thanks bro.. i am getting around 5 to 6 strawberries turning red everyday in that tub, and the most fulfilling thing about all this is that i used my own home made compost and my own strawberry runners and i did not use any fertilizers or nutrients, organic or synthetic, i guess you can say these are pure organic strawberrys.

^^Looking good Dill! I like the pak choi.

Today’s gatherings. Tomatoes, mosty romas. Purple and 2 types of yellow bean. Bell pepper and snow peas.
The snow peas are really being beat up in this 100F plus heat so I’m lucky to get anything. Going start some more beans and cantaloupe to replace ‘em.

Split for the July 4th weekend and these zuccs got just too big. Only one of ‘em was still good for eating , the others wern’t so tender .. so into the compost.

Peas don't handle Summer heat well at all, though they can do remarkably in damp chill. And yes, big z00ks get stringly and unpalatable. I like 'em < 6"/150mm. The big ones can be processed into zucchini bread, but up here in z00k season, that's hardly easier to give away than the squash.
