Yeah, I quite like the cheap mixed packs, there's usually a plant or two in them that bears closer examination.Jesús Malverde wrote:It's kind of a refreshing marketing approach to go honest when selling unstable polyhybrids as opposed to pretending we are dealing with actual lines or F1s as is usually implied.

But its difficult to figure out what exactly you got.
I grew out a C99 and Blockhead mix.. with Comet Vomit. haze
what all was in the pack?
I was able to identify them all eventually. Last of the Ultimate Indica all died.
I wasn't impressed with it enough to keep it alive.
I would do it again just for the early Blockhead.
Before it got adulterated by perverse b eings intent on saving us from ourselves.
"My Gawd !" evil scientist creatively says, "BLOCKHEAD!"
Good evil scientist being stoned misunderstands, "OMG! I have to hide this creative recipe."
His last DNA trail.. that was I forget how many years ago . uh

While we're on the subject of ballasts, I'll bet the first manufacturer who made one with a knob that went up to "11" would corner the market instantly.

I figured the Overdrive setting was the Spinal Tap 11.

Why not just make 10 brighter?

That's precisely why I grow in coco. It's reliable. No root rot, no heat trouble, just solid growth all year round.
Here's about two thirds of my harvest from this week. Still got three in the cabinet that will be getting the chop in the next few days.

You remain, Prawn, the Coco Chanel of coco coir. Or something vaguely like that.

Yeah, but where's the excitement in that?Prawn Connery wrote:That's precisely why I grow in coco. It's reliable. No root rot, no heat trouble, just solid growth all year round.
I do my mums in coco, but I prefer NFT for the main grow, mainly because there's so little to get rid of afterwards.. just stems and a mat of roots.
I have done some main grows in coco, and it would definitely be my substrate of choice if I were inclined to change my methods.
