The way fast food should be

I just went and ate at

. I ordered a ginger fried pork set which included a bowl of rice and miso-soup and some green tea. (710 calories) for about $5. This is my favorite fast food joint in Japan. I know there are some in the states but for some reason they taste like shit. You can get sukiyaki and the traditional gyudon (meat bowl) which is shaved steak with onions and sauce on top of rice.

A Mc'donald's set costs about $6.25~ here and I actually feel a little sick if I eat all the fries. I get a cough for a few minutes after eating that stuff. I have no idea if that Japanese stuff is healthy, I mean the beef prolly has steroids in it

but it's pretty simple.

Chinese food (for lack of a better word) is probably my favorite food.

You have to watch it in NY though cause there are some places that turn out real bad stuff.

God do i love Chinese food (and hate McDs)

The Won Kei. Sometimes called "Upstairs Downstairs" as aggressive floor managers yell at you to get off their floor and go upstairs somewhere......
Been going there since the early 80's.

I love eating there.....its an experience each time.............normally (if you're lucky) the waiters are appallingly rude and arrogant.........the food is nice and healthy, not greasy and truly delicious.
Dare ya to ask for a knife or fork and spoon...... LOL

Egg drop soup or Won Ton soup followed up with Chinese spareribs.

Follow that with butterfly shrimp and roast pork fried rice.

Best Chinese food i ever had was at the old Mei Tings on long Island in Huntington.

I think it was right across the street from the Walt Whitman Mall. It's been a long time.

Anyway that place got bought out a good 25 years ago and went downhill real fast.
