I remember when......

After enjoying the fruits of your labors, we all need a place to chill. This is that place. Totally senseless irrelevant banter encouraged.

You forgot to mention that the Helms Bakery truck came through the hood every AM with hot Boysenberry pies.

Oh yeah, and that milk on the step separated out into 2 layers so you had to shake it before decanting.

The milk we got was raw milk and had the cream floating on the top..... we always seperated it and used the cream seperatly.

I also didnt mention that little dot that use to slowly disappear on the TV that i use to watch in fascination.

Yeah, that dot was good. So was the Indian in the circle that came on after the last show until morning with that annoying high - pitched whine sound. 'Course that was when the tv tube was a circle with the top and bottom trimmed flat and there were only 3 channels.

I remember when the 4th ammendment was rock solid. During the 1970's i drove all over the deep south with quantity in my car without any worry.

As long as you didn't do anything stupid you had nothing to worry about.

I once drove through 900 miles of Texas with 2 pounds of weed.
If Muley can scruff along i can too.

speaking of delivered milk in glass, I remember being fascinated first time we got milk in a carton. Way better--lighter, easier to poor, non of that thick cream stuff to deal with - plain cool!
