Extend eviction and foreclosure moratoriums

Yeeeeeahh, there's a little problem with that. I recently saw that of households that are in arrearage for rent, the average amount is $6,000. How is that going to get paid when the moratorium ends? Same thing with mortgages. Same thing with commercial lessees and debtors. Now run that tidal wave up the financing chain. The day that moratorium is lifted, the courts will be swamped with evictions and foreclosures. This is not solving a problem...it is creating another one. One that will be way more devistating than dealing with it in a timely fashion.

"Their coverup and lies from the first days" until today is what caused this global catastrophe and allowed it to get worse, voluntarily...they willingly allowed it to spread. Some say encouraged it. IF they were going to take a hit internally from what they had done they are more than willing take down their global economic competition, some say.

Yours and Hax's white knighting for the government that created this mess and unleashed it on the world is rather repugnant. That you're treating their actions now is if they are a noble and reliable source is further repugnance.

And, you don't find it odd that very many "15 minute" updates have occurred in the intervening hours (nearly 4 hours, nearly 16 15 minute updates) and China's numbers remain 4,635? Not one COVID death in all that time...

In a press release today, Merck & Co. announced that they are “discontinuing development” of their SARS-CoV-2 vaccines. They explain that, although the vaccines were well tolerated, “The immune responses were inferior to those seen following natural infection and those reported for other” COVID-19 vaccines.

There still is a two-week incubation period before the vaccine kicks your immunity system in gear. Masking and distancing precautions still required. Recommends 4 weeks.
Wash your hands frequently for the rest of your life. Regardless of any virus that's just good hygiene.
