For some odd reason the wild turkeys around here show up more often as Thanksgiving Day nears.

And this year a white turkey showed up amongst them.
Must be a Darwinism thingie. If the climate changed to more white snow, she would be at an advantage and more likely to pass on her white genetics. Or as now with global warming and much less snow later in the season, she stands out maybe too much and might not live long enough to breed. Darwinism.
