A coyote in my yard. good for keeping the gopher and rabbit population down around my garden.

They are beautiful.
I was night planting in B.C. a few years back and I heard what I thought were teenagers partying, but as I got closer I realized it was a pack of Coyotes and they were singing up a storm. The hairs were standing up on the back of my neck while I planted my 8 clones in the cornfield but they did not approach me.

I have only found them in my yard at night and that’s only because they gave themselves away howling.

A couple days ago she made gopher kill in front of the veggie garden. Munched it right down.
She is my new best friend.

I saw a rare Coyote the other day...
it looked like a highly modified Mustang with round tail lights.

Yeah in the mourning , i think it's a female. i can't say why, just my impression. She is usually very skittish, i was lucky to get the pics,I happen to have the camera on me, I hope she get more used to me.

I had something of a relationship with "short bus" one of them
no idea the sex
but 'he' was in residence of a small canyon
500 yards behind houses
that id long been hiking
to get to the ridge above and on about my day

might have been a hearing problem but
this poor 'guy'
couldn't sense me walking up on him till I was literally 10 feet away
every time

after a few times is started going out of my way
to spot him and them
sneak up on him

was like he was deaf
and making no efforts to overcompensate

seemed dumb

I've got coyotes in the neighborhood, but I've yet to see one in the yard. When sirens go by, you can hear them howling along from the forest.
