as i watched intrinsic's dune video, i jotted down these notes
a bene geserit isnt a reverend mother until she survives a spice ordeal
agony
survivng it she gains access to the sum total of every woman in her genetic past
no male ever survived a spice ordeal until paul attraides
perfect vision
incorrect
presicense in the series is analogized as stand on top of a dune looking around
you an see alot of the other dunes,
but not into the valleys
about paul as a fremen god
the bene gesserit have been around for eons
one of their deals is to plant stories throughout civilization about messiahs
the goal is to provide any of their down on their luck being able to take advantage of the locals
missionary protectorate they called it
pauls accendency leaves millions dead?
the actual number is closer to 100 billion
the skipped the second book, dune messiah
in it paul strains under the religious mantle and revolts
paul and his son leto saw a great war that would exterminate humanity
lead but machines that could use presience to see people
leto saw that the bene gesserit breeding program could be used to produce humans invisible to presiences
and his skintrout assimilation gave him the 3000 plus years it took to make it so
the golden path....
the tyranny of the worm god leto

the fourth books is the best and they skip over his reign and his last couple years as book four lays out
book four is amazingly philosophical. ive read it many more times itself than any of the other books

a great evolution for the bene and who knows the matre
the authors son has done a great disservice to the franchise

claimed it based off a manuscript found in a bank lock box

the publishing industry keeps out voices mute, but

id suggest boning up on the back story
and then waiting for the directors cut
he shot a ton of additional footage and
it will make for the best possible introduction to the story...
