these days ive got the run of several thousand acres of wooded land at elevations

ive found one ghost town and dozens of sites where humans staked out their existance a hundred years ago

mostly parts theve dragged in but lots of logs

so far i notice their ill fitting

the hills are dotted with evidence of claim

they would chop a notch in a tree but then they didnt come back and the bark grew back over their assault

super cool is all the little stuff it takes you a dozen or more visits someplace to see

sometimes I will come back with a shovel
youll on occasion find initials carved into wood that been under silt for a very long time
