Third time's the charm

Post by Butcher Bob »

First time, he wouldn't fight back, so she doused him with a glass of water...then called the cops.
They came, they saw, they shook their heads, and left.

Second time, she was trying to let the air out of his tires, so he shuffled his feet inserting himself between her and the car, and she fell over from her crouched position...so she called the cops and told them that he body slammed her to the ground.
They came, they saw, got perturbed, said next time someone is going to jail, and left.

Third time, heavy into anti-depressants and alcohol, she flipped her shit, threw a metal mug at him...ya missed me bitch...broke a window. Trying to settle her down, he bluffed and said he was calling the cops...she beat him to the punch.
They came...
He said, she's on anti-depressants, was drinking heavily, and showed them the window.
She said, he's growing magic mushrooms in the basement.
When confronted with what she'd said, he simply replied, "yeah, she says a lot of things".
They took her to jail.
Next day, prosecutor decided not to pursue...let her go that afternoon.

Couple days later, they, with their adult son, go to have dinner with his folks. Discussion must have revealed her being arrested...to which she countered with how their grandson had punched his best friend in the face twice and now they no longer talk, and that their son was growing magic mushrooms.

Sometimes I'm so glad I never got married. :toker1:

I'm in Bumfuck, Italy. No drama at all, but the weed's running low.

Tomatoes, cardoon, sunflowers (for oil), tobacco, grapes, olives, artichokes, corn, cabbage, fennel, squash, and on and on and on. Most of those on my nearest neighbor Mario's farm alone. Farming is a very different business here than in North America.

<edit> and hemp, quite a bit grown here as well

Seems like typical Mediterranean climate farming, not much different than where I live, minus the tobacco.

We basically grow olives and grapes together the same way they have been grown together for a 1000 years.

Does remind me a bit of my childhood in Yolo. Rains a lot more here (like today), not nearly as much irrigated farming.
