After enjoying the fruits of your labors, we all need a place to chill. This is that place. Totally senseless irrelevant banter encouraged.

Are those are live oaks? As the sprawling Oak woodlands as in yolo. Or different species takening the niche? Sweet view!

Hope you got out of Yolo before the 80’s or you drank the water I use to piss in all the time, might have left a few floaters in the lake too....The parts of Yolo I drive hwy5, hwy16 and Butts Canyon are all real hot and dry.

What is that feminine of quercus. Thanks so they're not really live oaks there but deciduous. Cool, but they're Oaks, gotta love it

I'm not trolling...Lake County has what is called the Rumsey Gage, all water above the Rumsey gage for the past 100 years belongs to Yolo County, they control our dam, if the lake is flooding we can't open the dam unless they say we can.

....and i don't think Downy Oaks do good in CA, none of the three wholesale Nurseries I use have them.

Sorry, I did. The water in Davis is harder than Chinese algebra anyway, nothing could penetrate it.

Probably too dry there for them. I drove through the Central Valley from SF up to Sacto and back a couple of months ago. Still love seeing those oaks on the hilltops, starkly silhouetted against the sky.

Ooops. Quercia is Italian for oak, I substituted the Italian for the proper Latin genus name. I've mostly been communicating in Italian for a while, I guess it's taking its toll.
