they (the powers to be) had already 2 more rdy to blast off systems, after theyve done the last "show" (moonflight), just bc the programm is/was so expansive its more than questionable what happend to the other 2 vehicles
as far as im aware of, the last rocket that did a moonflight became transformed into spacelab in the 70s (im not rly sure about this, as it was before my time); but nobody knows how it became possible, that billions of dollars get lost david copperfield style
