I'm moving

Moving to a nearby state into the same town where a bunch of my family lives ( not Darien cause I would never live in the yuppie shithole . ).

After the hospital episode it makes sense. Gotta sell this place and then buy a house there. I'll be glad to leave the condo life behind. Fucking monthly maintenance charge never stops going up and they do a terrible job.

Will have a woodburner and a veggy garden which isn't allowed here. The amount of tools that me and my family will collectively own in the new town will be much more than what I have access to here. I get to watch my genius nephew grow up ( he's in 4th grade and reading at a high school level and gets straight As without even trying ). Plenty of hiking trails around.

If something goes wrong with mom I have all kinds of help there. Might even get a motorcycle since now I will have a place to keep it. This is a big deal in the family. Everybody is psyched and looking forward to it. My brothers conservative but I have other relatives there that a're real liberal. It's gonna be a big commune kinda. I'll mow everybody's lawns and shovel snow. Others will cook. Others will do the paper work. Soviet socialist republic of the northeast.

I will also have the use of a big van for moving stuff too big for the car. Lots of advantages.

My advice is never buy a condo.

Gonna have to tear out the grow cab here a build a new one when I get moved. A lot of the stuff I presently use will transfer nicely. Only the grow enclosure will have to be rebuilt. The utility box that holds the ballast and blower can easily be disconnected and reconnected.

Another relative owns a bunch of guitars and amps there to so I will get to fool round with a les Paul from time to time. He has a really nice Taylor acoustic too which is an amazing guitar.

The Darien faction of my family would probably shrivel up and die if they ever moved to this very, very blue collar working man's town. That's the great thing about this place. It has almost no upper crust section. No boutiques. No fancy restaurants.

It looks a lot like America before 1980 and Raygun.

Sounds like a hugely better situation for you and your mom than what you have at present. Best luck and wishes, moving is never fun.

i helped someone fairly well off move year ago
i was impressed by the number and quality of professional supplies available beyond just boxes

they make this papers for wrapping dishes thats stiff enough to maintain a crumpled state
very impressed

I had no idea my mom had an account here. She gave that shoot your eye out speech to all of us. End result was that all her kids are motorcycle enthusiasts.

Thanks JM. Yeah that moving ain't great fun but it should be worth it. I really want a veggy garden and I really want to mow and shovel snow. That's fun when you're stoned on a nice day and to me even cloudy days in winter are nice.
