Manazanita a Native, bees are all over it, the buzzing is Loud! the manazanite's sweet cloying fragrance is really help to mask my stinky canna growing nearby. Check out the sticky tricks on the flower stem, not unlike canna.

flower garden...

Post by Lrus007 »

had a large rock poking out in front yard. is the tip
of a giant rock. i took a cement well casing 3' tall and 4'
around. took a while but filled it with old soil. well had
enough to fill rest the way last summer. so i bought bulbs
to put into it. there are over 200 bulbs in there. i been enjoying
it all spring so far. is mostly spring bulbs daff, tulips and iris.
this summer i can take some saffron from another planter and
add them. then will have fall flowers. i am in zone 8 so hard
to find summer bulbs i can add. maybe some kind of lilly.
anyway enjoy Lrus007
