I have tied down my cannabis plants to increase yield and it does work,

i am wondering if you can tie down flowers and some vegetables like this to increase yield, when the plant is growing in vegetative growth, cant one tie branches down for a few days to bush them out a little and increase the flowers... ????

apart from tomatos ( bushy variety) i can think of any other vegetable that can be tied down to increase its yield ??

is it possibe though ??

You can train just about any plant or tree. Grapes aren't a vegetable but it's best to train them by tying them down.

Dill I can’t really think of any veggie plants that tying ‘em down as ya would a canna plant would benefit yield. But then I haven’t grown much of a variety.

Grapes, cucumbers, melons, polebeans, peas and such viney stuff of coarse needs to be trained. But not tying down? Maybe bush beans, more beans if they’re tied to spread out, but not for the same reason as canna to manipulate the apical growth.
I tie out my chilies and pepper plants for support for when the fruit gets heavy.

I’ll being trying some of that hubbard squash this year and I’ll fer sure be tying it up not down

I've seen people force plants in the cucumber family to the ground to force them to form a second set of roots, tomatoes and peppers do better when you plant them in the ground horizontally.

tying down is simply a method of getting better fruiting results indoors with artificial lights

outdoors, its of no benefit to cropping

youd be better off injuring the plant soas to promote vigorous growth response

They've been doing it with fruit trees for years.

Some coffee farmers have also started to train their plants to get a bigger yield, and
there's a technique to keep coffee trees short where they tie the plant down horizontally, allowing one of the lower branchs to become the main trunk and then everything else is cut away.
