what you gonna grow for this season !!!
^^ ermm
be honest with ya i am not a big fan of rhubarb, i mean ive only eaten it in one fashion and that was with custard at junior school.. but since i have grown it from a seed and not a cutting, i am committed to see it through till the end...
but they have huge Jurassic style fan leaves once it gets big so thats something to look forward too...

The classic prep for rhubarb is to make pie filling from it.

One for the crow
One to rot

rhubarb looks great dill. Aesthetically pleasing, as all healthy plants tend to be. nice addition to the garden anyways.

Oregano grows like a weed here and the bees go apeshit over it.

Maybe they meant unpalatable. It wont kill you to eat it/cook with it. But it tastes like shit. altho I’m purty sure all sage in yer neck of the woods are non toxic. And all good for cooking with, Anyways I’ve cooked with many native sages.bentech wrote:curious

There is a plant down there along the coastal ranges called California Sage Brush, thin delicate gray green leaves. It is not a sage at all but is closely related to the French Tarragon. Similar aroma.
