what you gonna grow for this season !!!
Bell peppers
Two bell pepper beds with something new this year using concrete wire mesh. The circular ones worked so well with tomatoes. Rather then tie up from a center stake, just slide in and out sticks for support, easy no fuss.
All orange bell, separate from the other peppers for uncontaminant seed production. Main bell pepper bed, yellow and red bell, with Maricone and Banana sweet chilies in the back.

Yeah nature is Amazing. I love it when I leave for a few days and see the change ya don’t always notice day to day,
Sorry to here the bees are still short there. This year been purty good for bees here, not like 5 years ago, But better. And the oregano flowering has been a major attraction for the bees this year. I think that is why the zuccs are taking off cause of good pollination, a hypothesis.
Ever think of hand pollinating yer pumpkins by hand. After all they are monoecious, separate male and female flowers, ought to be easy to do

these are the carrot seeds i sowed in the pumpkin patch a lot later than the ones in pots, these are ready to pull out.. after my little nephew ate one and told me " carrots are sweet and crunchy i want more"
( i am fasting so not had the chance to taste them just yet)
the ones in the pots i sowed a lot earlier but they are still immature
i think the pumpkins might have been pollinated, coz usually if they have not been pollinated they stay yellow and then wither away and die, but these are bigger and turning green..

I've never been sure what to do with pumpkins, besides making them into Halowe'en decorations for the front porch, but I discovered whilst in Italy that they can be made into an excellent soup called Zuppa di Zucca. Find your own recipe, or this one sounds good-- http://www.chefbikeski.com/?p=49" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
