One Berry, Two Berry - Pink Berry, Blue Berry

Couldn't find a thread on the Berry. So I decide to make one to chart my berries here.

Have worked on Acclimating and attempting to breed some berries for fun maybe three years now. Pink Blueberries aren't suppose to grow here but this year I am able to get flowers and take cuttings that finally rooted very nicely. So Pink will be here this season

Berries a bit different than Canna; shallow rot systemz and they thrive in acid root zones. PH above 5.5 and you will get the brown leaves sad blooms no fruits... At more Acid condition Calcium and Magnesium are often inactive.

Anyone else like the Berries? Any Exotic variety?

Oh man - Shank town central on those canes.

THey don't look like much but boy they do some damage if ur not careful. Here are the Raspberry Terps 4 u Intrinsic

I notice the other day I have some browning on the stems of my blueberry momma plant should I be concerned?

I've battled blight on the rasp canes before but I don't think this is blight??

Blight you can't reall beat on the raspberry. Uphill battle kinda just gotta maintain and take what you can before burning the shits

Blueberries and raspberries are a piece of piss once they get established. Here at least in the PNW. I've never had any difficulties with either except deer and my dog eating them.

I agree with you - Gold raspberry is more like a weed you have to try and kill it.

The main thing is some variety berry chill hours. For the pink blueberry my area doesn’t offere enough chill hour to bloom and fruit ~ approx 300 chill hours..
