Hi Intrinsic..... thanks for dropping by and that lovely pic of the Habs.
I can see you still have some sunshine!
It's in short supply here so I'm very near the end of harvest.
I lost my Red Habaneros early on to frost so I bought a few "for the freezer" along with a few farm grown Dorset Naga and Whippets Tail.

Well sadly I have no plans for growing anything as I'm trying to move house.
However if I move in time for summer I'm sure I'll grow something.......just dunno what yet.

Here's the last of my Ventura and Anahiem chillis.

when the weather gets cold they will stop fruit production, the red ones are more hotter, you can pick them off and they will turn red at room temps and yea some stay green all the way through, the less water you give them the hotter the chili becomes.. no point of feeding them N now as they already in flower, just let them be, they just need plenty of warm weather and they will do the rest.. i never do anything special when it comes to growing chilis from seeds/cuttings, just the basics and you will be fine, you can even overwinter the ones you like aslong as you leave them in a warm place indoors with some light it will be ok, in the second season the stem gets really woody and most will give higher yields in the second season, i have one that i have overwintered for 3 seasons now in a pot so more of a bonsai chili plant, ill take pics later to show ya all

Pk then it will be cool...

well i live in Uk so i start of my seeds a bit early indoors and then eventually in mid- may i leave them out for good till autumn.

once they start to flower they spend most of there energy in fruit production and not much else..

so what ya gonna do with your chillis ? gonna dry them out and make fine chilli powder or just use them in cooking generally..

some i grew last season
