I am over run this year. Bhut Jolokia, Red and Yellow Scotch Bonnets, Jalapenos ( hot as habanero, produced extremely well also), Habanero (my 2 bushes are over a year old now), Poblano, aji limon, red bell, orange bell, chocalate habanero, datil, bahamian goat.... Ill try to get a picture or two. Last harvest is soon.

Oh I forgot the one Rocoto I have that came from a pack of crushed seeds. It started off a runt with no real leaf and not even a node to grow from. Took forever to get going. Now its a bush about 4' in diameter. Dont think any are ripe yet. Rocoto is a very pretty plant. Doesnt look anything like most pepper plants.

I can grow habeneros here OK, but they will absolutely not overwinter. Cayennes are the best bet I've tried for a hot pepper in this cool marine clime.
One for the rook

One for the crow

One to rot

and one to grow

I'm live in the northeast. I bring them into the greenhouse. The habs went through their first winter last year here. I'm going to try and overwinter a lot of different peppers this year.

I dont know how big it is. Looks about 5 gal but its wide not deep. and the roots grew through the holes into the ground. A lot of my potted peppers did. Are you not believing?

no, was just curious the scale of effort needed

I'm just happy one grew. Outside I dont care how big it gets. I'm going to have to cut it back to winter it though.

And for Ben..top of the rocoto, camera is level with the plant, my wifes arm straight out. Its between 4-5' now. I forgot it was in a pot so I told you it was 10" taller than it was before but its grown a lot. Its has tons of rocotos on it now. They take forever to ripen though I guess. Not one yet this year.
