I didn’t do much of a veggie garden this year but I did plant a mini fruit tree orchid this year and plan on grafting a few more varieties on to this rootstock next year....I’ve been given access to pretty much any scion you can think of for free....life is too fucking short.

are you planting miniature versions?

No, but I’m using the vase pruning method so I should be able to reach lots of fruit without a ladder.

What's up Roots? Serious question I saw you were logged in so figured I'd try while you're here.

Can I get your opinion on Lambsbread? It's what I'm planning for this season..

as many as last year 1 1/2 bushels. but we had a
late heavy frost when the trees were blooming.
was a odd year lost a lot of things. then others
did not do that well. that is mother nature for ya..

rain let off so i got the yacons dug up finely.
grew 3 this year. there on a table to dry off.
you eat the big tubers. they look like sweet potato's.

then the red tubers on the top are what you plant.
you have to leave some big tubers on the root stump.
they live off of them over winter for the planting tubers.
