I watched his videos today and he has transformed my thoughts on hash making.

over at icmag there was a fair discussion amongst those using the bubblebuckets way back
a review of which could help him along in that making this his own

I supposed he deserves a listen through but
at minute 41 he was stumbling if
youd ever used that 'rig' twice

don't gang your screens folks

I got several great ideas from him.
I have been wanting to separate my bags and those cut-down buckets are the easiest solution.
Also, I have never pressed mine but he has convinced me to from now on.
I was also crumbling my buds but no more.

read the "bubblebuckets" thread here?

way way back
I started out and built a system like hes showing

then I discovered how quickly the tric's will clog a screen

the solution was to only run a single screen at a time
and secondly

to make sure it drapped in whatever was holding it
not be held drum tight

the thread I mention was a long drawn out discussion of several elements of what id produced

and in the end I decided it wasn't as foolproof as I would have liked

curious,
what do you make of his "the water should never stand still" deal???

I was doing that without naming it as such

whats the deal there??

I did see your thread. I may have even posted in it. I made a jumbo bucket myself on the cheap but I have a stainless steel fetish, I think, and that 30-gallon unit he is getting 90 grams per day running is very interesting. He probably has his own ice machine too.

I actually missed that but I will watch it again. I am thinking I can use a salad spinner to macgyver something.

frenchy did speed up science, big up to his findings, that by pressing and curing resin, new terpens and/or cannabinoids and/or other molecules emerge within the "block of hash" , which werent there prior hot decarb pressing

only thing that bothers me slightly is the heat and some loss of fragile terpens, which means that certain flavors will never show up in this kind of hash

but science goes hand in hand with science, i mean, we are just starting to explore the other cannabinoids apart from thc and cbd found in the plant, a few more cycles (whatever that means) and we will find out what those new found compounds in frenchies hash are up to

id rather go with static dry sift live resin, which is then decarb pressed , just in order to catch those water soluble terpens that get flushed out by water
awoken the right way
