I'm sorry, I don't see the point in these ultra high purity concentrates. They don't get you any higher--in fact the high from 95% plus concentrates, which I can buy whenever I want, feels oddly flat to me, they are actually surprisingly harsh to smoke or vape. I guess they are easier to conceal but I don't care about that, it's legal to possess here anyway, and properly dabbing or vaping them requires special equipment, I can't get high with a simple apple and a pen or a cigarette paper anymore. I appreciate the technical challenge of producing them to high purities, but the elephant in the room is that as with alcohol for consuming, ultra high purity reagent-grade ethanol at 99% is far less desirable than a nicely aged whisky of 40%. Nobody serious about imbibing is impressed by super high purity--in either alcohol or in cannabis. It's just bragging rights and nothing more the vast majority of the time. Everclear is mostly for teenage males and people who want to buy ethanol as a solvent for any number of reasons. Meh. 95% plus THC concentrates are a novelty item, nothing more really.

Valid points to be sure.
But I think they are just an internet scam in the first place.
3000 gram of 99.9 % THC would require an incredible amount of weed in the first place and then it would be worth more than a quarter of a million dollars, just to take 1 photograph and then break it up?

I went to the Karma Cup yesterday in Toronto and they had thc distillate so I grabbed a half gram to try.
It does remind me a little of everclear but I think it is here to stay.
They added terpines to it for flavor and said the weed it was extracted from was Alaskan Thunderfuck. It also comes in it's own refillable pipe that screws into a battery.
These are the guys.
