Westworld.

Rise of the Machines flicks are always fun and hopeful, the horror when they fail.

Westworld is a good one. Here's one of my favorite "rise of the machine" flicks...

When Alan invents Proteus IV, an artificial intelligence system capable of advanced thought, Alan's obsession with technology strains his relationship with Susan. But Susan sees the true power of her husband's invention when Proteus IV takes her hostage in her own home and plans to impregnate her in order to take on a human form."

That reminds me of the very first movie I saw on HBO (cable)... Invasion of the Body Snatchers 1978.

Full on with ads

The original is also good.

As a kid I loved the old monster movies...
...pretty much anything with Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, or Lon Chaney Jr in them...

Likewise, the old Universal monsters were my 1st loved horror movies. Used to stay up till 1130pm on Saturday nights to watch "Creature Feature!"
Amazingly enough, the host "Count Gore De Vol" is still kicking it after all these years.
