my bac at the hospital was .267

to get in the apartment balcony door
id climbed one of those old t pole laundry rigs

stood up on top of it to reach the railing of the balcony

was a casual drinker at the time so the activity didnt jive with just drinking
but by the time id got a lawyer all my blood samples had been destroyed

being white came through on the criminal side
but not the civil...

i was icu for 2 weeks
my memory is spotty

and i was a difficult patient

managed to rip out my intubation pipes twice
the second time after theyd cuffed me

had staples waste to arm but fuck that didnt stop me

the lead nurse said shed never seen it once
