enlightenment - the short primer

came out of nowhere
suddenly
reality is pulsing
and superimposed with a wireframe

built around everything objectively physical

and the pulse is pounding
most everyone around is collapsed to the floor
the pounding is to much

times grinding too

id say I ran
guess that's the closest word

was going for the next room where what I knew might help
on the way I knew most everyone I love
friends and family
they were laying on the floor somewhere too

it seemed obvious this was a whole system thing

made it to the next room
but there was nobody standing up to hear what Id to say

time was grinding
and the wireframe was collapsing
incrementally

seemed obvious I was about to be locked into something forever

concern for others was over at that point
its just me

I turned and simply walked through the wall into the daylight

the wireframe continues to collapse
it started as square inches but its down to centimenters now

there were trees out there
fruit trees

so this is how its going to be from now on?

hmmmm

noticed an apple near reach
and figured well what the fuck
might as well
last moves en all

I jumped up
and it was all slow motion

that pulsing

grabbed the apple
landed and took a bite

good as it gets

and in that moment I watched the wireframe finish its rush

its went from millimeters to invisible
and the pulsing went with it

it was just me standing there

staring out at the world
holding an apple

….

I gave up everyone
and in less time than it takes to catch a ball you threw into the air

got it all back
