SHOULD I RUN 2 OR 3 400WATT METAL HALIDES?

Ok igot a 10 feet tall closet by 8 feet walk in im running 2 400 watt mh and its toasty and humid the electric bills 50 extra a month and i think itll do the trick do u think its worth the electric bill and yield to get 1200 watts in there wouldnt be a lot of space left and i think it would roast the closet there not typical hid mh there comercial with big box ballast for lighting bulbs cost 30 bucks a piece i have an inline ducting fan fan for fresh outdoor air no air tubes around lights and they run vertical do u think it would be worth it?

toasty and humid isnt much of a metric

but it does sounds tempting,
your descriptions of the space is lacking enough to be unable to have an opinion except it sounds like youve got a ton of headspace so can afford to run a little hot

just what is your intake fan running cfm wise?
and just what are you doing for outtake?

then whats the local climate; florida or maine?

back to tall closet, whats the floor dimensions?

and what time does the butler bring breakfast around?

oh walk in closet10 tall 8 lng 5ft wide just outside intake air open door to exhaust runs 70 to80 degrees its winter here gonna be hot as hell in summer can V plants tie down to bars on each side to hang clothes would the extra 400 watt help much anyone know anything about running 1 big mh to2 small ones? would be good to know suspended on chains. cheap inline fan not sure cfm now got ac in summer can duct ac into room also as needed. the butlers usually late and he usually will eat half the breakfast.

so you mounted an inline fan straight to the ceiling to exhaust the space?

im a fan of naked bulbs hung amongst plants when done right
its going to get crowded in their

cut an intake in that closets door and put a light trap on it so you can use the bedroom and not have to seal up its window

no bro you take dryer ducting get a cfm fan to fit inside the dryer ducting place dryer ducting outside other in room vent in fresh air its an idea i came up with you can take the dryer duct and blow your plants directly with fresh air i have circle heater vent on my ceiling i can attach the duct to to cool the room in the summer with the air conditioner. fuck put a piece of dry ice in the the duct for co2 enrichment if i wanted its agood setup cut a hoe in my door so it holds the co2 or manually move the vent on plants to get em chirpin. but yeah if i were to put 3 they would definatly need a cool tube. i got the idea from cooling hids actually but rooms not to hot if i keep doors open. im going to have plant mid closet train branches to a V and tie them to the rods where you hang clothes and raise up the lights.

ok new co2 enrchment system im taking a cooler cutting a 6 inch whole in the side placing dryer ducting in hole gettin a stick of dry ice to place in the cooler fans running inline to closed room be careful dry ice can freeze your breath if inhaled dont keep close to face viola co2 generator

If you don't monitor PPM levels, you will not know if/when you drop below normal atmospheric levels....nor will you know if you git to toxic levels.

Based on my "NORM" starter kit for dummies, that consists of 2/ 1k lamps in a 5x5 area... I would go with 3 lamps @ 1k [per lamp]

and for the record, unless you have grown with 80wpsf, dont knock it and bring your sunglasses...
