The notion of collective ownership implies a democratic approach to the utilization of resources - economic democracy.

i like old tools,
this is a steam donkey,
they first appeared on ships,
then later on skids used to drag them from worksite to worksite
these skids were sized so you could float it around the coastline in alaska

With the economy so fucked for so long I think a lot of people are super stressed. When I get stressed like that I naturally wanna isolate myself. Just being around somebody who says the wrong thing can drive me up a wall. Funny thing is they aren't really saying anything wrong. It's just me becoming ultra perceptive like one of those big radio frequency antennas used to pick up signals from outer space so that we can find out if the aliens are out there.

I got a 40 year old solid stainless steel 8 inch drywall knife that I bought the first day I started in to learn finishing. You can't get these kind of knives anywhere any more and the fact that it's solid stainless except for the hard wood handle means it will last forever. It's used for last coat on corner bead. I see assholes using a 10 inch knife on corner bead from time to time. All I can do is laugh. If you have to use a 10 something in that wall is fucked up or the corner bead was hung wrong.

When I croak I'll leave it to ya Ben since you love old tools.
If Muley can scruff along i can too.

thanks man!

i will love and cherish it.
i know alot about finishing drywall BUT i didnt know the detail you just described.

fault of having learned it on small jobs and piecemeal

everyone wanting to really corner a trade need to have worked in the pits and done it commercial for a good spell

they call it 'slinging' when youve got to hustle and preform
