I know most here do not do the OG 2.0, I found this post this morning, and found it fascinating. But I get excited easy.
I have not internet sleuthed it yet, so maybe nonsense.
Sort of a coincidence, I've just had 5 grams of IAA, and 10 grams of BAP, sent to make some Keiki paste. Then I got thinking about if I can root a Phal with it, it should blow roots from cannabis like gangbusters.
The John Kempf podcast was dry but very interesting to me also.

hemi's and nanners
when growing a new plant you need to keep
a eye on it. a un noticed burst of pollen can
mess up a whole grow. so here is a little trick
i came up with. get a black light flashlight.
when lights are off. look the plants over with it.
the nanners will glow a bright green/yellow.
makes them easy to spot. then you can deal
with the problem.
also is my opinion. that female plants that are
hit with silver to make male pollen. the seeds
from the cross are more hermi prone.

My therapist says I am a habitual liar and an attention seeker, therefore nothing I say/write is true and under no circumstances should I be believed nor held accountable for anything I say. all photo's are paintings

growing and exercise
if you grow in soil and your pots are 5 gallons or less.
lift every pot every night. is it heavy no water, if light
needs water. all plants in pots seem to each have there
own wants and needs. this helps you not to over water.
if a pot is really heavy might not need watering for
a while. also if one is super light you know to give it
extra. is just a good way to know if a plant needs water
or not. is a good thing for new growers to do. over watering
is one of the biggest new grower mistakes.

That’s how I teach new growers. I have a saying I use that goes “You can’t overwater all at once but you can water to often”. After almost 3 years my roomie still struggles with watering.

I'm changing up nutrient lines, once again. I've been using the CNS line for a while, grow/bloom/liquid karma/silica blast/ but now I want to reduce more costs, and useless shit.
That John Kempf Vegetative and Reproductive Nutrients pod cast, made me rethink my ways.
So I get a bag of Calcium Nitrate for $9.00 using 12 grams or about 2 heaping teaspoons per 5 gallons of water.
Then a bag of tomato ferts (Master Blend), for $13.00 12 grams per 5 g's hH2O.
The Epsom salt= magnesium sulfate had plenty of and that is used 6 grams per 5 g's H2O.
I added PH down to get to 5.9 1 3/4 scoop, will measure that out way better.
So like $.30- $.50 for 5 gallons of nutes?
Now I'll be watching what I used it on, and will be starting tomato's, peppers, onions, spices, with just this mix.

ferts
ok N P K is N P K no mater how it is derived.
there is no problem using mixes of shit's ect. as tea's
if that is your thing. but i like to use salts. is cheaper
and works well. i use jacks classic fert's. my list is pretty
short for feeds. epsons salts, 10-0-0, 20-20-20, 10-30 20,
5-50-17 and superthrive. that's it. so for grow stage is the
20-20-20 sometimes add 10-0-0 with it for a boost.
then for bloom stage is 1 dose of 10-30-20 then next dose
is the 5-50-17 . i go back and forth that way the whole bloom.
both the bloom ferts get some epsons salts added to them.
then i use super thrive at transplant and 1 good dose 1/2
way into bloom stage 4-5th week. that is it. jacks is salts.
does not change PH and is cheap. for outside garden i use
10-20-20 from feed store is pellets and 40 lb bags.
so please do not spend a mint on ferts..

Canna specific products are mostly garb.
Humboldt Counties is pretty rock solid but they had issues in the past with formulations.
I use Earth Juice in combination with Dry ferts from Down to Earth. Most of my crops are water only
No salts no bullshit.
If I had a bigger place I would use BMO recipies an make my own
