Cut Fox farm for starting seedlings

Post by twilson »

I'd say I used about 40% perlite to 60% Fox Farm and I got no burning on the leaf tips like when I used straight Fox farm. Read a lot of comments on other sites about people complaining about it burning seedlings.
If Muley can scruff along i can too.

I've never had any long term issues with seedlings with moderate Nitrogen tip burn, in fact once their metabolism gets into gear the same soil that caused tip burn usually kicks ass. If you are planting seedlings into soil and they *don't* tip burn a bit in fact, I'd be a little concerned about available N for vegging.
One for the rook

One to rot
