My therapist says I am a habitual liar and an attention seeker, therefore nothing I say/write is true and under no circumstances should I be believed nor held accountable for anything I say. all photo's are paintings

In October 2017, a team of progressive researchers published “Autopsy: The Democratic Party in Crisis,” which probed the causes of the disastrous 2016 election defeat. The report came in the wake of the party leadership’s failure to do its own autopsy.

In a cover story for The Nation, William Greider wrote that the Autopsy is “an unemotional dissection of why the Democrats failed so miserably, and it warns that the party must change profoundly or else remain a loser.” La Opinión reporter María Peña summed up the findings this way: “To revitalize its base for future elections, the Democratic Party has to clean up the rubble of its defeat in 2016 and develop a strategy beyond condemning the actions of President Donald Trump.”

Now, “Democratic Autopsy: One Year Later” evaluates how well the Democratic Party has done in charting a new course since the autumn of 2017. This report rates developments in each of the seven categories that the original Autopsy assessed — corporate power, race, young people, voter participation, social movements, war and party democracy.

Now you're just pandering to me. :p

Watched the press conference video...sounds very similar to what I've been pointing out. Dems need to clean house, or continue to loose footing in the political arena. A lot of progressives stepped up to the plate this election...a few won. But more importantly, when you look at policy issues on the ballots, progressives had huge wins. In MI we passed all three...legalized MJ, set up independent commission to draw district lines (previously partisan political committees did this), and did major voter registration reform to enable greater voter turnout. All passed overwhelmingly. The dems need to read the voter base better, and incorporate these progressive policies into their platform....or die.

They won't learn anything from 2016 because they are being well-paid not to learn anything from 2016. Besides, who wants to be in charge when you get paid the same for losing and there's none of the responsibility or work connected with being in power? The Democratic Party's only real job is to keep the left well away from the levers of power. That's all their gazillionaire donor class who pay all the bills cares about.

the democrats needed to do this back when Clinton was in office and decided with bush meanwhile neither of them will end up holding a candle to what trumps doings are going to amount to

Indivisible on Tuesday published a new action guide aimed at helping organizers and constituents go beyond resistance and pressure the new House Democratic majority to fight for a positive, ambitious agenda.

In his speech, documented by ThinkProgress, Lee warned that this state of affairs will make politics angrier and more violent until it eventually leads to a second civil war — and in order to prevent it, we must abolish several critical federal programs, including "the Interstate Highway System, "K through 12 public education," "federal higher education accreditation," "early childhood education," "the Department of Commerce," "housing policy," "workforce regulation," and the "huge glut of federally owned land."

Although Lee's views are extreme, his views are dangerously close to taking root in the corridors of power. The Federalist Society, America's foremost association of conservative lawyers and judges, has played a substantial role in choosing President Donald Trump's judicial nominees. And Lee himself was briefly considered by Trump as a possible pick for the Supreme Court.
