Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas wrote a concurring opinion in Friday's ruling overturning Roe v. Wade arguing the court should reconsider rulings that protect same-sex marriage and contraception.

The high court overturned the landmark case of Roe on Friday, with Justice Samuel Alito writing an opinion in favor of Mississippi's ban on abortion after 15 weeks of gestation.

In a concurring opinion by Thomas, the Republican-appointed justice wrote that the court should also reconsider other cases that fall under previous due process precedents.

"For that reason, in future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court's substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell," Thomas wrote.

whiteys on the rampage...

Griswold v. Connecticut, 381 U.S. 479 (1965), was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States protects the liberty of married couples to buy and use contraceptives without government restriction.

Obergefell v. Hodges, 576 U.S. 644 (2015) (/ˈoʊbərɡəfɛl/ OH-bər-gə-fel), is a landmark civil rights case in which the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the fundamental right to marry is guaranteed to same-sex couples by both the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. The 5–4 ruling requires all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and the Insular Areas to perform and

recognize the marriages of same-sex couples on the same terms and conditions as the marriages of opposite-sex couples, with all the accompanying rights and responsibilities

the intolerance of the old order is emerging from the rosy mist in which it has hitherto been obscured.

So the Jack boots were called out, there aren't any armed congressional representives protesters, so it won't be another Uvalde with cops standing by pissing in their pants.
Never forget The Lafayette Square Massacre.
Remember when they rolled out in force to stop the coup January 6? Oh, wait… those are Democrat Representatives protesting not MAGA.

Vote Vote Vote. If you don't vote, the protests are meaningless. Did I mention to vote.

Antifa members in Washington, D.C., threatened to "burn it down" while demonstrating against the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v. Wade on Friday.
Members of the far-left militant movement joined protests in the nation's capitalagainst the court's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health.
"If we don’t get it, burn it down," the demonstrators chanted.

Fox News and Republican legislators are at this hour calling on the DOJ to stamp down these violent protest quickly before they get out of hand.

They wrote it down, this is what they're telling you, this is what we're coming for next. This is not fear-mongering they wrote it in their decision.

Thomas was specifically inviting people to bring those cases.

Just because the 3 justices HAVE PROVEN THEY LIED UNDER OATH. Does not mean they're lying now.
It's not the time to slack off on Prosecuting abuse of power, yanno authoritarianism. 'specially not now.
Don't forget Pence's and Trump's part in this.

The justices got it right, that being said….

It’s time we change this antiquated system that allows racist, misogynistic old white men who died many generations ago to force us to live in bondage.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders after her gubernatorial primary win: "We will make sure that when a kid is in the womb, they're as safe as they are in a classroom."

'nuff said.

Roots did you mean it right decision as: To let the majority of the citizens in each state make that decision if anyone in the state has the potential? That is not up to individuals (with thier medical advisors) at all to have the potential choice.
State rights should trump national consensus. E pluribus unum.

Right as in accordance with our antiquated system.

You could make the same arguments for heavy drug use, assisted suicide and on and on….We need to burn this whole system down, some things should not be left to the states and the constitution needs to change with the times.

I like this letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote.
