Thank you Ben. Not to mention the success they had at blocking witness testimony as well.
Sure, spying and trying to influence other nations is as old as history. We do it, they do it, on and on.
I don't believe that it was the sole purpose for the results of the 2016 election at all. That doesn't mean that trumpy and crew weren't looking for sellers though.

While enlisted, I used to possess a DOD TS clearance several decades ago. Part of my duties occasionally required me to visit the Pentagon, for one. That being said, I'm no expert on espionage and such. The movie "Falcon and the Snowman" kinda reminds me of the stuff we used to courier. To be clear, I was never privy to the contents of the stuff I handled. And that's alright by me!

late 90's i was still employed and privi to leading evangelical arms
my job was to fly in days before and scout out all the routes to and from my principals leading engagements
easy enough, but
then the day before the event the heavies would show and id have to 'y'es sure'
to the security details whod
preempt what we'd establidshed
it got me thinking
whyd you ever shoot at a religious guy?
more specifically
why do we deserve shooting???????
couldnt find dialoge following those questions at the time...
but i FUCKING chased em...

Well, there are plenty of essays out there fact-checking the Lies in thier answer, which are numerous and blatant. Including ignoring the actual charges.
Instead I thought I'd laugh not at the content but the misspellings and grammar errors on the first page.
Misspelled "United States"
To: The Honorable, the Members of the Unites States Senate:

Fourth grade error should be “respond” not “response"
FWIW it boils down to Trump won the election so he could no wrong. Trump wants triple down on the big lie.
