If the world is round then Pi must appear in the calculations. Put it wherever you want but it must be there.

Fwiw, yanno pi was derived from the ratios of angles and sides of triangles (trigonometry). as for the number of diameters in a circle's circumstance it was derived later with pythagorean theorem using right angle triangles. but there are many more ways to derive pi. it shows up all over the place.
That the Beauty of math, how no matter what perspective ya start with the results are the same.

for instance this equation has no pi explicitly listed,

f(x) = sin(x) - x*cos(x)
yet with the trig functions of sine and cosine it is intrinsically in there. Cool huh?

But again what equation? Since the thread is about Global warming, (That is the mean average surface temperature of earth)
then the "equations" in question would be for averaging temperatures. I reiterate:

For mean average temperatures. (Global Warming) its just summation of data points (temps) and averaged out.

The equation for a centered circle is, where x and y are Cartesian coordinates and r is the radius length.
x² + y² = r²

No pi for needed to graph or solve for a circle. Lovely

So now you are using the do-nothing argument that you were using in this thread to claim : no one really believes in global warming, greenhouse gas emissions, the grade school math, potential climate change.
