A question about curing?
How quickly do I want to reduce from 80 % moisture before jarring? My curing has been hit and miss so this time I have hygrometers in the tubs and brown bags and trying to do it by the numbers.

If your buds have only lost 20% if it’s moisture. You need to dry it down to about 50% before jarring. I have never had a hygrometer and have always done this old school so perhaps I am reading this wrong? It measures the amount of humidity/moisture so if its at 80% then you need to dry it more.

A question about curing?
I think what hes asking is how close to put the lid on those soas to affect whether
no lid and their at 50% in three days
lid on and just a bit ajar and mabe it takes 10 days
does this difference affect how suscessful your cure is?

A question about curing?
I have been sweating them already and can't meet those environmental conditions here now but when it's time to dry the outdoor I will. I never really had to cure it before because it was gone so fast. Now I have a chance to learn how to do it right. It's been 7 days to dry 20% but the stems are still flexible so it certainly needs to dry more but too dry is just as bad.

A question about curing?
When the stems within the terminal buds can be easily snapped after being in a sealed jar or bag for overnight, they are ready to begin curing. Burp them once every few days for a couple weeks and that should be good.

Time, heat, oxygen ruins good weed....curing is a gimmick.
There’s a reason all the oil/hash/crystalline/distillate/rosin makers all charge more for the stuff made with fresh frozen trim and freeze drying is the best why to get the water out of hash.
