g'day!
I'll be doing an organic grow outside next summer, I live in Spain I'm here to learn up and read for now, and for the banter obviously. My parents have grown for a few years too in the same spot where I'm planning so I already know what shitshows to expect, more or lessLrus007 wrote:well ask away on growing questions

They'll be going in pots, I have quite a lively garden & I like to be able to move them to where the sun's best, plus I assume it'll be easier to protect them from pesky infestations if they're in pots. My plan is to plant early & get them up to 50L pots before they flower.
I'm trying to to complicate things to much, thinking of using the tribac kit by BAC nutrients (they're popular over here, pretty basic & organic) & then maybe boosting the flowers a bit, but I don't want to use ten thousand different products, just the basics to keep 'em healthy & strong and caterpillar-free

g'day!
Spains a big place
Ok
Whats your constraints on pot size
Same goes for in the ground
The volume you make sweet for root growth
Thranslates into
Finished flower formation
And the deal here is
Genetics genetics genetics
And if you got good ones
given the the climate
Then you dont want to screw around
In the off season
Get that gene established
So a prnblen here or there
Doesnt wipe you out
You want
On the day its cool for outside
To park clones you know all about
Not some seed that look pretty

Oh
By 'spains a big place' please
Understand
No matter your propertys specific lat and long
Where you going to place your pots
Or holes
About it
Influnces what your working with
Its called 'microclimate'
And it influnces what genetics
Thrive
In the space your going to be growing...

Sounds good♪K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid) is the best with weed.
The rest of that poetic♫ micromanaging stuff is what you'll dial in in the next few grows.
Long as your dad showed you how to root clones and germinate seed all that's left would be how legal is it to grow in Spain? I assume it is as everywhere else: If no one knows, its legal.

as for the pots, i would transplant right into your 50L pots vs a few transplants.
i looked up your nutes the grow is NPK 8-3-3 and the bloom is NPK 8-5-6
the pk booster is NPK 4-2-8. all are high in N even the bloom. i would look
for nutes with NPK of say 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 for grow. then like 10-30-20
for bloom. NPK is NPK whether it is organic or a salt. salts are cheaper and
are more stable for nutes. as for the caterpillars some tanglefoot put on
the bottom of stem/trunk of plant will keep them at bay.
do not plant to early you want the nights to be in the 60º F range
if in low mid 50º's F it will stunt the plants. if you want to go true organic get
a pet rabbit. use it's shit for your grow nutes and some bat shit for bloom.
