You're saying that you are going to decrease your water's pH with dolomite?
Aeroponics/continous....EC/PPM levels
lol, you sometimes lower your pH and sometimes raise it? ( sounds like chasing the pH to me) Change your rez once a year? Hot damn it really is Astra.

So put up a pic of your plants and show us how bad ass you are, 'cause all I see is bad advice at this point. Most growers only need to either raise or lower their pH, if you're doing both you're doing something strange, maybe not so stable after all?

or you can be cheap like me and cut out tin foil to cover the rockwool. it is a must covering up the rockwool or you will get mold or algaeA Bloke Down The Pub wrote:You can stop the algae by covering the top of the block with double sided black/white plastic sheet. Just cut a circle and make a slit into the centre... slips on like a collar (white side up).WhiteHotAfterburner wrote:My problem with Rockwool is rooted (pun intended ) in that algae thrives in it. Also, I've seen plants with stem-rot where Rockwool was used....right at the top of the block where the stem protrudes up from it. Just keep a good eye on it as you progress.
Never had problems with stem rot myself, but I can see how it might happen.

Sorry for the crappy photos but...........You read about it, you heard about it. And here it is. Chronic (serious seeds) one week into flower,4 weeks from seed to veg. Grown in an aquamist system(aeroponics). Nut's are Dutch Masters Gold about 3/4 strength In the back are 3 Northern Light plants from Hemcy. 600 watts, you can't see the hosebib, but youcan hook up a garden hose and reverse the mag-drive and it will empty the tubs. Was disappointed with the Hemcy seeds, probably won't use that company again...........the second photo looks thin cause I just took a total of 20 clones................
The bottom photo are clones. On the left Northern Lights. On the right Chronic.
