It's very quiet, and hasn't failed yet, but I can see the soaker hose holes becoming obstructed..

If you got a strong enough pump I doubt they would block but cleaning between grows is a good idea. Other than that the only real problem is the heat the pump will add to the water in the summer.

I have an external pump I'm using next time. I have to vacate this house in 30 days, the pic of that pump is up there^
