I think you're in California right? I assume you'll keep growing some (even though it's nice to be able to go to the neighborhood store and choose among thirty different bud varieties) even though cannabis will be legal for any adult. What is it, six plants/person there? If you've got the climate and the OD growing chops (the latter of which I have no doubt) growing six outdoor plants could be plenty to last the year. You think your attic genetics will thrive in the garden?

Honestly, I haven't grown any in years (we don't have the legal option, non-med) and I seldom buy as I get gifted enough to meet my needs by friends who grow. When I buy here in WA State, it's to try a variety I am curious about, not because I don't have a stash laid in. People here grow a few plants in their back yards, it's normal, but it isn't strictly legal. I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for it, I don't think local LE cares at all.

Then why is there a body in the middle of the road?

I never even wanted to go near doing an attic grow. Talk about trouble galore. You must be in the Netherlands.

They kinda specialized it.

Yeah Cali, I prefer to always grow some. Indoors an ounce is costing me $35, outdoors ought to be $5 or less an ounce.

It won't be for sell non medically until 2018, and the taxes will be high! the consumer pays $20 per ounce + sales tax right off the bat. Plus the $20/ounce(for flowers) + $10/ounce(for leafs and stems) + the $50,000 license fee + inspection fees + gawd -knows-what-else the grower pays that is Also all passed on to the consumer.

I expect the black market to thrive quite well, with those taxes. If i still lived in the city i would start selling again and easily and profitably undercut the "legal" stuff.

altho if i do grow in my veggie garden next summer, i will look look for some clones to start a new variety of my own. The variety i have now is mostly indca for short quick grows, sativa candy would be nice.
It total depends on the county sheriff. no matter what the state law say, he is the law here. cant fight it and stay off his shit list. And he is on record opposing Prop 65, Marijuana is bad bad stuff in his view.
So i may always be well hidden and not just low keyed. never been popped and i want to keep it that way.

I get these three whorled petioles plants now and then. Usually on the females, this is the first I,ve seen it on a male. Since I'm growing essentially my own heirloom variety I wonder if this intrinsic canna trait is more common in this variety.

Anyone else seen this phenomenon now and then also?

I've had that (or similar) show on immature plants, but they always grew out of it and reverted to more conventional growth. I've never seen flowering plants do that.

Should I use the tri-node male for breeding this year? Or collect the pollen from a normal 2 noded one?
Or Mix the pollens together and let natural randomness decide? Usally what i do with the males anyway.

In other words: "Should i stay or should i go?"

Open pollination like that essentially is, is a legit way to explore the potential of a line.
