When the sun sets to the west my outdoor plants are all perked up and face the west, an hour or two later they go to sleep, but about two hours before the sun comes up in the east skies the plants wake up and all point to the east. The plants know when and where the sun will come up.

Indoor the sun always rises In the same spot for the most part even if you have light movers, even though the lights are on timers I don't see them wake up hours ahead of time in anticipation for the lights to come on.

There's just something about outdoor growing that can't be duplicated indoors with my current understanding of growing indoors. I know I'm in the minority but I'll take great outdoor over great indoor all day long.

btw nice topic, as its intresting when you design led panels, namely the blues go to the outer rims, the reds go into the center, as blue and red are responsible for phototropism more than "invisible" 730 far red what we were talking about, for those who dont know :P with such an design you will always have the leafs pointing upwards , switch red n blue positions and the leafs will bend down ...

but im sure you all knew that

What if there is a universal field ... and yes electrical impulses move along this network. ... like a giant universal brain with universal synapses for electrical implulses to travel along.

What can a plant do? It can't adapt over night. Evolve! A worm can strip a plant in 8 hours.
