I have made it so that no information posted on this site will show up on
any search engines.

So your posts and usernames will not be listed anywhere but here.

If we were looking to make a buck off of this that might be important Hacks but it's not... We're just a place for people to gather, share, learn, joke around and most importantly, have fun ya know? We don't need no stupid google or yahoo spiders watching our every move for any of that.

I cant speak for this site as i am only here to get it up and running.

But IMHO being available to search engines is not worth the security of the membership.

Very little traffic is gained through doing so and a lot of attention from LEO types.

How this whole site is going to be financed and continue to run is still up in the air as far as i know.

So guess we will see what Smokes wants to propose.

As i said i am just here as the geek........
