compatibility mode is a setting in the internet explorer - not the site...

"Compatibility mode" in IE is set by clicking on the "compatibility view" box on the right of the url. It's circled and labeled in red in this instance...

Unless I'm misunderstanding that, too....which is likely.

You were right.

It turns out it's been in "compatibility mode" this whole time. And now that I think of it, I believe I accidently hit that damn button a long while back.

Should I turn it off (remove it--deselect it) and trying getting into chat?

Take your time, top. I don't even use chat--I think I've been in it once and the person I wanted to chat with (they were in the room when I went there) had physically left their computer and actually wasn't paying attention to it anyway

I'm only doin this to try and help get it fixed so the others that may want to use it can.

I'm going to include the screenshot just so we both know for sure what's going on and we're both talking the same language
