That suggests you are either apathetic or well-informed. Anyone cheering on either Hamas or Israel is willfully blind.

I’m on the side of civilians on both sides, especially youth.
I don’t see any realistic solution to the problem and I don’t believe a word the Israeli government says.
I’m not well informed but am just as informed as anyone posting in this thread.

Bibi and Hamas are on the same team. The winning one.

When I was as kid, if another kid wouldn't share something – or we thought someone was being selfish – we'd call him a jew, or tell him to stop being a jew. We didn't actually know what a jew was. I was probably a teenager when I learned what a jew really was. Up until then, I thought it was just another word for someone who was selfish.
One of my best friends in primary school was Egyptian. When I went to his house and his mum was wearing a hijab, I thought nothing of it. I'd never heard of the word muslim or islam and had no idea what they were. The most fascinating thing for me was they spoke a different language. I really had no idea about religion growing up. We never practiced any religion and my family never talked about it.

It's funny how when you're kids you don't really see race or religion.

I was exposed rather early. My father was from Arkansas.Prawn Connery wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 7:51 amIt's funny how when you're kids you don't really see race or religion.
We were hearing the N word on the reg, as my father never used any other term.
Children were instructed to use the moniker " Minnamatee" as we were'nt permitted to Cuss.
I remember greeting Mr. Minnamatee or Mrs Minnamatee unchallenged until we went to school, where the proper term at the time was negro.
I had a good friend named DouG who was black and I brought him home to play on day. It went sideways when dad got home and told me to remove the N from his property.
Of course my dad was more than happy to educate us early on the kikes, camel skinners, women drivers, moon faces, etc.
I naturally rebelled against this prejudice, as Montgomery County Schools were very progressive and corrected my early teachings.
My dad wasn't a bad man, but the environment of his upbringing was very backwards. Keep to your own.
