Not that I'm aware of.
Just that every word has a vowel....and that some letters occur more frequently in words than other letters.
Choosing words with different letters can help eliminate options.
One of the toughest I've done went like this...
A D I E U ...looks for potential vowels...every letter came back nada.
S T O C K ...checks high occurrence letters, and the remaining vowel...every letter came back nada again.
..............At this point I was kinda puzzled...no vowel and 5 common consonants eliminated.
..............Looking at what letters were still left on the keyboard I was able to come up with a third word with letters not yet used...
G L
Y P H ...got lucky, got the vowel, and two consonants in the right position.
..............Then it was just a matter of staring at the letters left, and coming up with an actual word ending with PH.
..............Got lucky on my next guess...
N Y M P H ...ta-da!
